Who We Are

Horizons is a new church launching in Macomb Township in September of 2009. Our ultimate goal is to launch 12 churches in the next 24 years. You're invited to be part of this vision to mobilize and reach others in a real and rewarding way. You were born for this!

Objective

Horizons Church is called to reach the unchurched by being culturally relevant. But Jesus' plan for Horizons is anchored in something even deeper: transformation. The power to transform lives is seeded by his Spirit challenging us to step out into deeper waters of trust and faith. As we follow Jesus on this risky journey of faith, we have the opportunity to mirror him to our communities.

The Vision

Our goal is to know Christ and make him known. All of us have limited time on Earth. Will we spend it on self-indulgence? Why not take a risk on God and trust him with your life? Commit yourself to this dangerous journey by being the hands, feet and voice of Jesus. By joining in the struggles of others with God's love, we will see something beautiful where it never existed before.

The Mission

In a world that looks hopeless, our goal is to share "Christ in you, the hope of glory.: We do this by engaging ourselves in the midst of the brokeness of people's lives. Only the glimmer of hope called the Church can reshape a future that seems lost.
